To begin with, the showcase is confined within the Vodafone arena which means to be able to enter the showcase people are expected to pay a fee, not as convenient as the Hibiscus Festival which is situated at Albert Park with no entry fee needed. The fee ranges from FJD$2.50 - $3.00 quite a hefty amount for young students who may wish to visit the showcase with a mere ten dollar note!

Thirdly, are the amusement rides provided at the showcase. There are Ferris wheels, sizzlers, the octopus and at least two kiddie rides. These rides cost $2 and the duration of that particular ride is probably worth only a dollar! Definitely not worth the full price.
Last but not the least are the various food stalls. To be able to get a good meal, food would cost around $6.00 and if one is to find something cheaper than that, then that would be considered as junk food or food that isn't as filling or satisfying.
In conclusion, is the show case really worth the time and most importantly worth the money? Wouldn't it be so much cheaper to have a picnic with family at a park or by the beach rather that being apart of something that requires a large wallet. Maybe some may view it as being able to experience something new such as the various performance offered however should an experience be as costly for the ordinary Fijian? After all without us there would be no show.
